The most important factor in preventing the spread of the Virus locally is to empower the citizens with the right information and taking precautions as per the advisories being issued by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
O - Police Force
Their role in battling the coronavirus by implementing the lockdown. These forces have been searching new creative ideas to keep the citizens Indoor and to create awareness among people.
Videos and photos posted circulating in social media on cops, good or bad, they are going extra mile to perform their duty. The primary priorities of the police are to safeguard lives and health, maintain public order and contribute to overall emergency preparedness.
O - Healthcare workers
Healthcare workers who will be, the frontline of the battle, in day to day life doctors, staffs, nurses and paramedics been working tirelessly.
Along with giving best care to the virus affected patients, also making sure, they don’t carry the virus back home. They put at risk, each time a patient exhibiting symptoms.
G - Media workers
Electronic media has always been a powerful tool to reach out to people, uninterrupted coverage of virus outbreak.
Private satellite news channels and FM radio channels to publicize ads, analysis, critics, interviews, reports, messages, importance of social distancing, to create awareness and prepare public not to get panic during this pandemic situation
E - Social work Volunteers, non - profit organization
These workers raised funds and deployed volunteers, set up helpline, create volunteer groups , to help community. NGO’s are working around lockdown restrictions to feed the needy, They are trained on awareness & prevention programs are conducted to sensitize people & vulnerable communities.
They are helping daily wagers like auto drivers, vendors, families, many of whom are elderly, with their daily groceries and masks.
